I was born and raised in Beatrice Nebraska. After graduating High School, I went to Kearney State College. While going to school, I worked part time at McDonald’s. I realized then that I really enjoyed taking care of people and their needs. I then moved back to Beatrice and started my career with McDonald’s. I spent many years working with the Corporate Restaurants in Lincoln. I then became a Consultant for the Company. After doing that for 4 years, I moved to West Des Moines Iowa in 2014 with my wife and son to be the Director of Operations of a Franchise there. I had over 800 employees that I had the pleasure working with. My passion for taking care of people was magnified in that role. After 5 years, my family and I simply missed our home state of Nebraska and being close to our families so we moved to Grand Island and took on the role of Director of Operations for a Franchise in Central Nebraska. In 2021, after 35 years, I decided to retire from McDonald’s.
Over the years, I had bought and sold many homes with different REALTORS® and enjoyed the process. As I was figuring out what my next chapter would be, my sister suggested being an Agent. She is a REALTOR® for Nebraska Realty and said everyone was friendly, knowledgeable and accessible. After much thought and prayer, it was clear that this was my next endeavor.
My experiences have taught me the importance of attentiveness, problem solving, compassion, integrity, communication and the “Golden Rule”. I am very excited to utilize my work and life experience to help my clients buy or sell the biggest investment of their lives. I also have experience with commercial property with McDonald’s and look forward to leveraging that. While business has been a fundamental part of my life, my faith and family will always be the foundation of who I am.
